Supported Devices

Charge provides mobile service on the Nationwide Sprint® Network1,2 to compatible devices in the United States.

Bring any Sprint-compatible device

Charge is an entirely "BYOD" network operator. You bring your own device, and we provide the service. You're free to use any compatible device you choose, including most iPhones, iPads, Google Nexus phones and Sprint-specific models of other popular devices. Read further for a more comprehensive list.

To determine your device's compatibility simply create a free Charge account and add your device. It's always free to check a device's compatibility.

Supported iPhones

Charge will work with most modern iPhones, as long as they're purchased in the United States. Unfortunately iPhones purchased outside the United States have an activation policy that’s incompatible with Sprint’s network.

Supported iPads

iPads without cellular connectivity are not compatible. iPads purchased outside the United States have an activation policy that’s incompatible with Sprint’s network.

Supported Google Nexus phones

Nexus tablets are unfortunately not compatible at this time.

Other supported phones and tablets

Because we operate on top of Sprint's US network, we can support any Sprint-compatible device. There are too many to name them all individually, but we do support Sprint-specific models of all popular Samsung, HTC, LG and Motorola phones and tablets, among others.

Devices purchased from Sprint and Sprint's prepaid brands or other Sprint MVNOs are also supported, provided they've reached their financial eligibility date ("FED").

If you're considering purchasing a used device, be sure to ask the seller about its "FED" status.

Supported hotspots and USB modems

Charge supports any modem or hotspot compatible with Sprint's network. Some examples include the Netgear 341U, the Franklin Wireless R850 and the Alcatel Ride-Fi.
